To start living green in your community, you need to learn what programs already exist. Our city templates can help you with this research. How good a job is your community doing to counter climate change?
Join an existing activity or contact the local government to encourage them to set up new programs to benefit the environment. For example, you could lobby your town hall to set up a recycling program for hazardous waste materials.
Organizing an event to promote awareness of the environment is a way a community can learn to become green. Your community could invite knowledgeable speakers or scientists to give educational talks about climate change. The community can also sponsor special environmental awareness days.
